Another

My brain's still not functioning right at the moment, and I can't think of a good post. Thanks to Vinch, for he saved my blog yet again from total decay. I've been tagged, so here goes.

What makes your blogging unique?
  • What makes my blog stand out from the others? Hmm. Probably the absurdity of my ideas and the horrendously frequent grammatical errors.
When did you start blogging?
  • I've started during 4th year high school. I was venting my thoughts out at Friendster way back then. I've tried using wordpress before but heck, I was too lazy to update it so i've decided to delete it.
What are your feelings on the “blog popularity” issue?
  • Blog popularity isn't much of an issue for me, as long as that certain blog is deserving to be popular. The issue for me is the people who are blogging for popularity. I mean, blogs for me are created to share experiences and ideas with other people and to serve as an outlet of your emotions, not as a tool to achieve fame.
What's your favorite childhood memory?
  • When I was in grade school, I used to eat taho under the sampaloc tree (ust) just beside the grade school building right after our classes end. Dunno why, but every time I eat there while seeing the sunset I always feel sad, yet blissful. Weird. Yun.
Are you a spiritual person?
  • No. I'm not really into religion and all that spiritual stuff.
Do your moral values affect the way that you blog, and if yes, how?
  • I guess so. Siguro it affects the topics that I post here, or the way I write. Dunno.
What is the weirdest thing that ever happened to you?
  • Being bitten at the neck by a Labrador. No, imitating Gene Kelly's dancing in the rain at a supermarket. Ay no pala, dancing the "taktak" dance at the mrt.
What is your best quality?
  • Optimism. :D
What is your worst quality?
  • Procrastination. Period.

Whatever

Taglish
I don't get it why some people dig taglish. You know, that kind of mixed up, maarte-toned, conyotic language. Whenever I hear someone speaking taglish, I get this unusual urge to punch that person and slit his/her neck (kidding). I dunno, there's just this annoying factor in taglish that really gets into my nerves. It's like so annoying kaya. I'm so inis to taglish, I wanna make galit na and all that stuff. It's like so whatever, you know.

Lupin
GMA7 is becoming more and more, socially irresponsible. With it's primed show, Lupin, the station unconciously promotes crime as a cool thing. In the show, the lead role being portrayed is a thief, who steals for his own satisfaction. Therefore, the role only does bad, shitty stuff, and it doesn't promote good values. That's a bad thing, especially when almost half of your viewers are minors. I hope kids would be smart enough not to imitate Lupin, and I do hope that next time, GMA7 would be more careful on planning their shows.

School
Stress is a part of a person's daily life. And for me, stress is becoming a major problem. As the term progresses, the pressure of my subjects also intensifies. I hope I do survive this term without failing a subject. Mahirap na bumagsak, may major pa naman ako.

Donuts
Aside from the color green and orange juice, donuts are now becoming one of my addictions. I simply can't help but be addicted to them. Hell, who wouldn't be addicted to that soft, chewy and oh so yummy heaven sent food? I can eat a whole box of 12 donuts, lalo na pag Cello's, Gonuts or Krispy kreme! ( kaya tumataba eh.)

Libertad

June 12th is Philippine independence day.

On this day we remember the deeds of our heroes who valiantly fought for the freedom of our country. We honor the people who gave up their lives for the good of the Filipino people, and those who sacrificed so much so that we can reach what we are enjoying now. We also celebrate our nationalism, our pride to be Filipinos. ›This day is important, as it reminds us of our past and our identity. But, it seems to me that the essence of this day is lost. It seems that Filipinos nowadays forget the importance of our freedom. It seems that the hardships of our heroes are taken for granted.

Many of our fellowmen are turning their backs on being Filipinos. They’d rather be a citizen under the star spangled banner or the rising sun than be a juan de la cruz. Many Filipinos opt to give up their lives as free men and serve foreign masters in exchange for citizenship and cold hard cash. It’s sad, but this is the reality nowadays. Due to the many problems that bug our country, nobody wants to be a Filipino anymore.

Extreme poverty, rooted corruption, ballooning debts, intellectual exodus, starvation and unemployment. These are some of the problems that our country is facing. With these problems, it isn’t surprising how people abandon their Filipino identity and freedom. Living in a country bedridden with so many problems can really get into your nerves. But whatever problems it may be, it isn’t a license to just throw off your identity, your freedom, your heritage. It isn’t a license to just throw off a gift our heroes died for so that you could have it.

Be thankful for a wonderful heritage our heroes gave us. They sacrificed their lives for it, so better be thankful about it.

Stand up, be proud and show some love. Mabuhay ang Pinoy!

Happy independence day!

MoA Madness

June 9th.

I had attented the long-awaited blogger's eb in MoA. Funny that i had to make an alibi to my parents just to be able to join that event. But all the efforts paid off. The EB was a blast! It was a fun-filled day,and everybody who came had a great time. I saw some familiar faces, and at the same time met new friends.

All the stuff we did that day were fun. From the merienda time at Yellow Cab, the ice skating moments to the late dinner conference at the food court. Laughter was always heard and there were no dull moments. I had learned a lot of new stuff, and I am so thankful I met such great people.

Tagged

I have been blank these past few days. My blog was, well rotting. But thanks to Vinch, I have now something to post. Thank you for tagging me and for saving my blog from doom.

I've been tagged, and it looks like fun, so i'm gonna try it. Here goes:

Instructions:
Each player of this game starts with 6 weird things about him/her. People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 6 weird things as well as state the rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. Don’t forget to leave a comment that says you are tagged in their comments and tell them to read your blog.

1. I have this weird habit of "undressing" chickens before eating Them. that is, removing the skin before munching. I'll eat the skin after the meal is over. Parang dessert. Tas samahan mo pa ng chocolate sundae as dip. yun.

2. I invent a lot of words. Something like boomlaverz, putrambell and chukarikoo. I guess that makes me weird, and a schizophrenic too. Wahahaha!

3. I am addicted to orange juice. Maniwala kayo weird yan.

4. When I was a kid, I had this habit of spreading peanut butter on my face, then i'll let my dog lick it off. It just stopped when our dog died when I was 7 years old. Buti na lang!

5. I believed in Santa Claus, and every time Christmas day comes, i'll wish for world peace. Nasayang yung mga wishes ko. hehehe.

6. BS Psychology, my course, drives me crazy. So probably, i'll end up as a psychopath instead of curing lunatics.

now, i'm gonna tag:

Yna
Joe
Japboy

I'm supposed to do another one, the alexa train, kaso di ko gets so next time na lang yun. Tugsh.

Somniculosus

Chemistry is boring. That's a fact.

And when you're bored, you tend to think weird, silly things.

Just like what happened to me. I've been sitting in my Chemistry class for sometime now, and each day of it never fails to bore me. All those subatomic particles drive me nuts, and those chemical equations are like lullabies inviting me to sleep like a baby. Every meeting is just the same, so to save me from boredom and humiliation caused by being caught sleeping, I always tend to think of funny and weird thoughts. Earlier, we had a really boring chemistry lab class, so there I went, imagining stuff. And I had thought of a really really weird one.

"What if everything in the world is reversed?"

That was the question that sprung in my mind. What if the world was in reverse? Would we think it as funny? Or will it just be normal? At first I was just asking questions, but later on, I'd imagined situations that amused me big time.

at marami pang iba.

I can't help but laugh whenever I think of those situations. But pano nga kung ito ang norms natin? Paano nga kung totoo itong mga to? I wonder. Hehehe. Wala lang.
